At  the Pendyffryn Children’s Trust meeting held on April 6th 2011 Jane Jones,who has been a volunteer with the Trust for many years,was appointed a Trustee.

On October 16th 2010 Jeremy Irwin-Singer as Chairman organised a celebratory lunch to mark Jennie Jones’ retirement as Director and to acknowledge her fantastic achievments in setting up The  Pendyffryn Children’s Trust and secured its continuance over 18 years.

Many friends,officers and volunteers attended as did Freddie Jones and at this most enjoyable lunch in Oxford,Jeremy acknowledged the huge contribution and influence Jennie had been over many years and hoped the Trust would go from strength to strength even without La Stupenda.

We went for the first time to Timber Hill,Broad Haven,Pembrokeshire www.timberhill.co.uk having spent many happy summers at Walton West Cottages in Little Haven,Pembrokeshire,whose owners Jane and Fred Smithson had helped us for many years.

John and Annette Bauer,Timber Hill’s owners, were very kind and supportive and the facilities,layout and position made for very good holiday accomodation for the families.
Broad haven is a larger village than Little Haven with more facilities and a very long stretch of lovely sandy beach with life guards present.

Frances Clark, Ali Liebowicz and Louise Ivimey-Cook helped us as volunteers during  summer 2010 and have now kindly agreed to join the committee.
